Hi!

Well its been a while since the last newsletter but work has been going on in the background. Most of the work has been on raising the profile of Gofarmer on Google. I have researched around 50 keywords I would like Gofarmer to rank highly for from 'tractors for sale', to 'used farm equipment', 'cows for sale', 'poultry for sale' and 'uk farming' and 'smallholder news' and am working to get Gofarmer onto page one of Google for all of these. So far we are page one 'second hand farm machinery', 'used farm machinery' and 'sheep for sale' and page 2 for a number of other terms.

The blog is also at 7th place on Google for 'uk farming news'. And remember your products could also be featured on the blog and Business and Farm Focus pages get shown on the blog as well.

If you have products listed on the site, please ensure you keep them regularly updated and delete any adverts that are no longer required. Thanks. On average adverts are being viewed around 1000 to 3000 times over a period of around a year.

I have recently deleted around 50 members registered with invalid emails and am aiming to keep the database clean and relevant. Please keep your contact details up to date as this is how potential buyers and clients will contact you.

I am always on the look out for smallholders and farmers to feature on the Farm Focus page and interesting businesses for the Business Page. These get a lot of traffic so its a good form of additional exposure for you. Contact me if you are interested.

All spam signups to the forum have been deleted and the few proper members activated so pop along and introduce yourself and take part in discussions.

I am also keeping a note of Google keyword positions on the forum so you can watch Gofarmer's progress there as well.
