Access To Farms (ATF) partnership is offering training to farmers who host visits from schools. On completion this will result in an Open College Network (OCN) award, and ATF will provide you with a logo and certificate of achievement to use for promotional purposes.
Once a farm has someone CEVAS trained the farm itself can then become CEVAS accredited. This accreditation is recognised by the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) and from January also by the Learning Outside the Classroom Council (Lotc) which will start to issue badges that demonstrate to schools the safety and educational quality of the provision.

The course is subsidised at £75 (+VAT) which includes materials, refreshments and registration with the OCN.
